The Cinque Terre can be easily visited by train. Trenitalia regulates a regional train service within the Cinque Terre National Park that connects the five villages and stops respectively at the towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore.

Regional tickets

The regional ticket can be purchased at the station ticket offices, automatic vending machines and online on the Trenitalia website.

The ticket costs 5 euros per person for adults and 2.50 euros for children from 4 to 12 years old. Tickets must be validated and are valid for a single journey (without intermediate stops) within 75 minutes of validation.

The Cinque Terre Card

As an alternative to the single journey ticket, the Cinque Terre Card MS Treno is sold, which allows unlimited travel in second class on regional trains between the stations of Levanto and La Spezia (round trip). The Cinque Terre Card MS Treno is nominative, non-transferable, non-refundable and in case of control it must be presented with a valid identification document.
